Temporary Folder Does Not Exist (Not Responding)

Post by ngt63 » Fri Oct 07, 2016 1:24 pm

Ever since I upgraded to CSE HTML Validator version 16.05 from version 14 I received a popup error with a title "HTML Validator: Temporary Folder Does Not Exist". I use Internet Explorer 11 and this error happens sporadically!

If you ran into this problem and have a solution for it, please share it with me.

Thanks!

Hello,

I'm sorry for the trouble. Please load CSE HTML Validator and then choose 'Help->Copy Program Info to Clipboard'. Paste the clipboard in a new document in CSE HTML Validator (or somewhere else like Notepad) and look for the "WINDOWS TEMP FOLDER" line. Does that folder exist on your system?

It should be a line like this:

Code: Select all

WINDOWS TEMP FOLDER: C:\Users\Albert\AppData\Local\Temp
