Php Html File

Post by build » Sat May 21, 2005 3:58 pm

Hi all

I have searched the new forum and the old one and cannot find any information on this.

I have a php/html file which is a template header file.

I run cse on it and it stops with too many warnings message

Sum of these are correct but othere are not.

like "the html tag must have a end tag but the end tag was not found"

It is not a error as the end tag is in the footer php/html tempalte file.

There are loads of others where the php is inserted in the html.

Is there any way I can tell cse to skip these or not.?

Or am I asking to much of cse.

Or whats more I'm I doing this wrong.

Many thanks

John

Hi John,

With dynamic pages such as that, have you tried using the integrated web browser? That will let you view the page in a browser as an end user would and CSE can then check the output HTML. If there's a problem, then you can figure out which PHP script is causing it and fix it.
