Customize uh... "quickbar"?

Hello and thanks for having this board.

I'm thinking about coming back to TopStyle for HTML. I've used it since the beginning for CSS but have long been a HomeSite holdout I'd used that since version 1.2). Now it's just too outdated and I'm about to upgrade from my TS3 to version 4. My question stems from a HomeSite feature I'd really miss. I had several custom buttons on my quickbar and like the concept of both adding "buttons" and/or customizing the existing ones. Is something like this possible with the TopStyle "I don't know what to call it" toolbar? (see my graphic)

Pardon my terminology - searches on the terms came up empty. I tried customize, buttons, quickbar. So if it's been covered, apologies but I did try.

Thanks for the help.

ML

The TopStyle 4 HTML toolbar is fully customizable.

Depending on whether you're running XP or Vista/7, the HTML toolbar snippets are stored either here:

\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Bradsoft.com\TopStyle\4.0

or here:

\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Bradsoft.com\TopStyle\4.0

Unfortunately, the documentation on how to create these snippets is kinda lacking right now. My advice is to copy an existing snippet, rename it, and then use it as a template.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Super! Thanks so much for the help. I'll keep a file of help snips in my TS folder and, hopefully, will remember to refer to it. :P

Thanks, Stefan.
