I've hunted through options and searched here and I can't find a reference to this.
When I start the open dialog, TS starts in my root directory. I'd rather have it default to where I keep my websites but I could live with that behavior if I had to.
But when I've just opened a page and go to open the associated stylesheets, it takes me back to the root again. And again. What am I missing? I can't work with it this way.
Thanks to anyone who can steer me in the right direction.

Re: TS4 not remembering last file location
I cannot seem to reproduce this. Here's what I did:
1. File > Open
2. Navigate to a directory, for example C:\Sites\MySite
3. Open a HTML document from that directory.
4. File > Open (again)
Result: the File > Open dialog defaults to C:\Sites\MySite
1. File > Open
2. Navigate to a directory, for example C:\Sites\MySite
3. Open a HTML document from that directory.
4. File > Open (again)
Result: the File > Open dialog defaults to C:\Sites\MySite

Re: TS4 not remembering last file location
Stefan, did you close the first file before trying to open the second? That's my issue. I'd like it to "remember" the last directory from session to session.
Thanks for working with me on this.

Yes, I closed the 1st document before trying to open the second.
Maybe you can send me reproducible steps? Please be as detailed as possible.

Re: TS4 not remembering last file location
Out of curiosity, did you enable this setting?
Options (F8) > General > "Sync File Open/Save As dialogs with current File Explorer directory".
If you did, then uncheck this setting, and please repeat my steps above.
Thanks, Stefan.
