I don't know if you can do this already, but it would be nice
you could invoke batch validation from the command line. The program would run minimised. It would exit when the batch were finished and set the error code on the serverity of the problems it found.
Most of the time there is nothing wrong. I just want validation included as a verification step in the other static macros etc that prepar ethe website for upload.

Yes, you can invoke the Batch Wizard from the command line (it won't run minimized though). Please see the "-b" option here:

You can then use the "-q" command and it should quit (exit) after the processing is complete.
Unfortunately it can't base a return code on the # of problems with a Batch Wizard command.
