Did you know that there is an online version of CSE HTML Validator?
The free online HTML and CSS validation service at OnlineWebCheck.com (http://onlinewebcheck.com) helps webmasters fix website syntax and other problems and be seen correctly by search engines. Most websites contain HTML syntax problems. Some of these problems can be severe enough to affect a website's ability to be indexed properly by search engines. Damaged or missing search engine listings can greatly affect the number of people coming to a website because many websites are discovered through search engines.
HTML and CSS problems can also cause trouble for visitors. While a website might look fine in one particular browser, HTML and CSS problems can make it look corrupted in another. This is especially important today because many people are using alternative web browsers like Opera and Firefox as well as mobile devices.
UPDATE 2011-01-20: Significant upgrade- OnlineWebCheck.com is now based on the professional edition instead of the free lite edition for better results including CSS checking!
UPDATE 2014-08-26: OnlineWebCheck.com now responds faster than ever. It also now supports JSON and HTML5 cache manifest/application cache document checking.
UPDATE 2017-05-04: Please see this announcement about OnlineWebCheck.com.

Re: OnlineWebCheck.com Service
COOL!
I've got a company I've tried to interest in CSE and now that he can try it online, maybe he'll be more inclined to try it.
It shows lots of errors on his website.

Great! Please spread the link to the online validator around.RSteinwand wrote:COOL!

Also, if a company's URL is http://www.testmedomain.com, then you can send them a link that immediately checks their page:
http://www.onlinewebcheck.com/?u=http://www.testmedomain.com/

Re: OnlineWebCheck.com Service
I've made some changes so that http://www.OnlineWebCheck.com/ is now faster than ever!
This is a free online HTML and CSS validation service.
It also now checks HTML, XHTML, CSS, JSON, and application cache files (cache manifest files).
But note that it doesn't show: bad & broken links, SEO (search engine optimization) messages, mobile messages, misspelled words, accessibility messages, tip messages, JavaScript lint messages, and messages other than errors and warnings.
We highly recommend any serious developer use the paid desktop version for the fastest speed, most features, and the best checking.
