adding custom *.js files

Post by roedygr »

Where in the menu structure do you specify custom *.js code?
I thought it was in the Batch Wizard somewhere, but I don't see it.

Some padding to make the message long enough to be accepted.

Hello,

Are you wanting to add custom JavaScript snippets to a text inserter like the User Inserter? If so then this should help:

If you have JavaScript documents you want to use as templates for new documents and want to add them to the File->New from Template menu then please see this help page:

I have JS scripts you wrote for me. One keeps track of when files were last validated, and skips them if they haven't changed since then.
The other opens files automatically if they fail validation.

Oh... those aren't JS scripts though so I was really confused. :D Sorry about that.

You probably want to specify that TNPL script file in the Target List Options tab in the Batch Wizard after you've opened a target list. Specify it in the 'User functions files' field.
