I have a document with deliberate high ascii chars in it - I am demonstrating the various ways of getting weird chars.
see
http://mindprod.com/esperanto/esperanto.html
I sandwich them in
<cseignore> </cseignore> but still the validator complains. I don't want to turn the test off generally, because everywhere else I use entities, and high ascii is a mistake.

Hello,
This is by design... when CSE HTML Validator is checking the characters, it checks the document line by line without regard to any tags, including cseignore. I think this makes more sense. I think you'll just have to ignore those messages if you want to leave that checking on.
