Hub,org
They were responsive and had a good uptime. Just to small to survive with things like godaddy. had servers in Europe, Canada and Panama. I watched the contraction and should have planned ahead.
Thanks I will check-out Pair

PHP newer than 7.0 not available so can't upgrade phpBB. mail host improperly configured ('we are not responsible for interface to other apps'). sha...

I like the idea IF this addition doesn't make the validator too "heavy."

Re: JavaScript "localStorage"

The same is true with cookies, even using escape . On the search of a solution that works. Of course the user can be prompted to close the...

JavaScript "localStorage"
What started out to be a simulator "for me to play with" has now turned into something more (programmer's nightmare!) I am trying to cleanup the GUI without lots of rewrite/ restructure. I have one PHP script that initializes starting conditions, opens a second browser window to display gr...

Re: Chrome vs Firefox and BSOD
unfortunately, Firefox can still be a resource hog like Chrome. Yea, there was a time when you got bonus points for tight, efficient code. That was 40 years ago. One of the downsides of cheap RAM. Don't know if related, but 1-2 weeks ago Firefox was crashing my PC. Windows claimed it was a disk dri...

It will be interesting to see where things go. There are many here old enough to remember when you almost needed to write different html for each browser. To me, where CSS goes looks like the most fertile ground for divergence.

Re: Max length recommendations
How do you feel about adding missing maxlength recommendations to form input fields? I use maxlength to control verbosity in free form fields. My example is a DB for a theater's costume inventory. In addition to all the descriptive fields (size, color...) I have a description field. By adding a max...

Re: CSS HTML Validator 2019 coming soon
Albert, Just noticed that when I cut/past into a validated file, the valid "green" does not disappear as when I type a character. The "**" Not-saved marker does still appear of course
On the list for later.
