Re: Interesting installation

I've been snowed under for a while so glad to be getting back to something more normal. Maybe a note when the full uninstall comes up. I leave the previous version installed until after the new one is running. When I saw that I thought "Does that remove the prior version?" and decided not...

Re: Interesting installation

Hi Mike, I'm sorry for the trouble. The program is simply not designed to be moved once it is installed, and if it is, then a "full uninstall" is required in order to rebuild the registry entries properly for the new folder location. I'll make a note of this and try to improve this behavio...

Re: HTML 5 and Tables - Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Paul, I took a look at the table you mentioned. Try changing this: <table cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" border="1" class="TABLE-CENTERED"> to this: <table id="unitassignments" class="TABLE-CENTERED"> Then adding this CSS to the page's ...

People Urged to Avoid Overlay Accessibility Products

Be careful when choosing to use a "quick accessibility fix" like an overlay product. Instead, address accessibility as an integral part of your website instead of as an afterthought. Use good accessibility tools that help with integrating accessibility natively. The next update of CSS HTML...

Re: Linear Gradient

That did it - thanks! Again, superior support from Albert (and crew?). Great! It's just me, myself, and I. :D UPDATE: The next update (v21.03) will generate this error message that should make this issue more clear: Is the "to" keyword missing before this <side-or-corner> value?

Re: Linear Gradient

Hello,

It looks like the "to" keyword is missing.

Instead of:

Code: Select all

linear-gradient(top, #eeeeee, #f9f9f9, #eeeeee)
Please try:

Code: Select all

linear-gradient(to top, #eeeeee, #f9f9f9, #eeeeee)
I hope this helps. :)

Re: image position on web-page

Hello,

You may want to try using percentages for lengths instead of absolute length values like 350px.

You might also find the CSS clamp() function handy, which lets you set a minimum, preferred, and maximum size (or length).

Re: Stalled Link checking and valid links reported as Bad

OK, hopefully the last fix. :D

If you download now you should get v21.0151 which fixes some potential issues when the link checker runs into location changes when checking links.

Re: Stalled Link checking and valid links reported as Bad

Just another update on this, I'm still waiting to hear back from the developers who are better able to understand what's happening. I hope they will provide some assistance soon. I am also back from a family visit and will look more into this soon. It is still on my mind as the link checker should n...

Re: <iframe> Drop-down Menu Covers Content

Hello, For security reasons I don't think there is a way for an iframe to overflow its own content area. Do you have access to PHP? That's what I use to easily include common menus, headers, and footers on the pages at htmlvalidator.com. You can do this using the include(), include_once(), require()...
