Re: Don't Understand Error message

I guess I'll just have to leave it that way because no matter what I change ANY of the colspan entries to it just creates more errors! It's like chasing an error that won't go away. I understand. It may not be the "colspan" attribute that is a problem, it could something else. It depends on the ...

Re: Don't Understand Error message

Hello, Let's say you have: <tr><th colspan="4">My 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Build Sheet</th></tr> Then that (the <th> element specifically) covers/creates/establishes 4 columns (due to colspan="4"), but if the table actually only has 3 columns then you will see an error like this: Table column 4 ...

Re: [RESOLVED - For now!] Tables - Again!

Yeah! That background looks pretty good! The yellow text might be a little hard for some people to read when it's on the lighter parts of the background though, in case you want to try to do something about that. If so then maybe you could make the text shadow darker. Just a thought/suggestion I ...

Re: Tables - Again!

Hello, sorry for the delay. Had family in town and events to attend. You can move the background with the 'background-position' property. You could remove the 'background-repeat: no repeat' declaration to fill in the background that the image doesn't cover, or change it to 'repeat'. You could also ...

Re: Tables - Again!

I noticed you were using this CSS: table#WAA, th, td { BORDER: 5px solid red; PADDING: .3em; } Which also affects all <th> and <td> elements in all tables (and not just tables with id="WAA"). Perhaps you want something more like: table#WAA { BORDER: 5px solid red; PADDING: .3em; } I hope this helps.

Stop Edge from asking to be default browser

I use many browsers, but I use the ones that annoy me less than those that don't. This is why I don't use Edge more. It's more annoying that almost any other browser I've used. I'm trying to get stuff done and it's often trying to get in the way with annoying questions and other interruptions, and ...

Re: ChatGPT and SEO Article

Sorry for reviving this one. Do you think SEO is helpful nowadays? Great question. I think SEO has greatly evolved so what was SEO 5 or 10 or more years ago is not the same as SEO today... so it depends on what exactly is meant by 'SEO'. Nowadays I think it is far better to concentrate on great ...
