Re: 508 - Loop Detected

I'll tweak it to avoid the error.

Re: 508 - Loop Detected

I've just reverted to the original settings and tried it on the local server on my PC and that doesn't give any loop warnings.

Re: 508 - Loop Detected

That sloooows it down!

No loops now on newcastlecameraclub.org, nor puerto-de-mogan.com. I did get them on the one site on the old server that I tried before changing the settings, but none now.

Re: 508 - Loop Detected

puerto-de-mogan.com, also moved to the new server is giving the 508 warnings.

Re: 508 - Loop Detected

I've checked a few other sites that I have just moved and got nothing like that (though a phishing attempt has been blocked from an external link on one of them)

Re: 508 - Loop Detected

It's happened every time I've run it today - I'd never seen this before. I've just moved the site to a new server, but I wouldn't have thought that would have affected it.

I'm running Bitdefender - it's allowing all protocols, any IP in any direction for chv200.exe

508 - Loop Detected

Running Batch wizard on https://www.newcastlecameraclub.org/ is giving me several 508 - Loop Detected messages. As far as I can tell, these are just links to other pages on the site, or links to the same page, but all of them would require the user to click on a link. Is it telling me about somethin...

Re: Pragma no-cache

I am not using a meta-tag, so I'm puzzled as to where the Pragma header originates. It only happens on a couple of pages on the site https://puerto-de-mogan.com/ and searching the source code for the site doesn't find any mention of Pragma, no-cache or Cache-Control. Have you checked your web serve...

Re: Pragma no-cache

I'm getting a similar message with the Batch Wizard: A "Pragma" HTTP header was sent with the server response but this header is only defined as applicable to requests from a client. Consider the "Cache-Control" header instead unless "Pragma" is needed for backwards compatibility. Visit https://deve...

Re: Duplicate control names for SELECT tag?

I think you're right, there's no need for a message at all if it is an array that is being passed unless there is another reason that the user should be alerted, such as the control name being used by Javascript (which I'm not very well up on).

Re: Duplicate control names for SELECT tag?

It probably is better as just an informative message rather than a warning, but I'd stand corrected if there is good reason it shouldn't be done.

Duplicate control names for SELECT tag?

I have just been using the same control name, counties[] for several SELECT inputs so that counties in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland in each are are all passed as values for the same parameter to the PHP script handling it. HTML Validator gives a warning "[119] The control name "counties_cove...

Batch Wizard username and password failure - 15.02 32-bit

I'm trying to link check a site that is accessible only if logged in, but only the login page is checked, even though the username and password are entered in the Batch Wizard fields. The php login script sets session variables for user_id, username, and user_group , which are checked each time a pa...
