Re: How do i run my .aspx pages in validator

How do i run my .aspx pages in validator. Also it shows errors for runat = server tag Hello, The best way would be to use the integrated web browser to browse your ASPX pages while the source is viewed and checked. Would you send me the URL? I would like to add ASP.NET attributes to the configurati...

Hello,

Can you email me the Batch Wizard Target List file as an attachment? Please send it to support@htmlvalidator.com. Also, what version of CSE are you using? I will try to reproduce the problem.

Re: Nice new forum and a question

Hello Albert! Nice new forum you have here. I hope you will be able to get the messages of the old forum incorperated or at least viewable so we don't have to ask everything all over again Thank you! Currently, there's a link at the bottom of the forum pages to the old forum which is now read only....

ASP.NET

One of the features that I would like to add in v7.0 is the valid recognition of proprietary ASP.NET attributes so that ASP.NET developers can make better use of CSE HTML Validator when checking the output of their ASP.NET pages. Does anyone here have a web site built with ASP.NET that I can use in ...

Hello Tode, The integrated web browser uses the same engine as IE so if it works in IE, then it should work in the integrated web browser. I created the following test document and the image did display in the center in the preview browser: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitio...

Thanks. I don't think I'm going to be able to do anything about this one. I suspect it is an issue with accessing the files through the LAN. Perhaps a limitation in the network since Windows really wasn't designed to be case-sensitive. By the way, I did try to reproduce this by accessing a document ...

border=0 usually gets rid of image borders. If it isn't working, I'd like to see the HTML. Can you post a URL?

See the information for the "border" attribute here:

Yes, it sounds strange, but there must be an explanation. :-) If you can give me the steps to reproduce it, then I can see if I can reproduce it here and determine exactly what is happening. Also, you can turn off case sensitive link checking (which only works for local file links, by the way). You ...

That option refers to the full URL. Here is the documentation for it: Do not process targets matching these strings - Specify a list of strings, separated by semicolons. If a target matches one of these strings then it is not processed. This allows you to exclude certain folders or documents from be...

New JavaScript Menus

I've just finished adding new JavaScript menus to the CSE HTML Validator website. These menus should appear when the mouse is hovered over most of the links on the top navigation bar. The new menus should provide easier website navigation. Please let us know if you have any comments or suggestions a...

Hello,

You may first want to try checking "Check for high ASCII characters" in the Validator 2 tab of Options->Validator Engine Options. If that doesn't work well for you, then please let me know.
