It would be nice in the batch report if you could click a link to display the problem *.html page. From there you could do a view source.
It would also be nice in the batch report if you could click a link to edit the corresponding file in HTMLValidator. You might do this with a dummy *.val extension you have associated with htmlvalidator. It would strip the .val and load up that file.

Do you have the "Link each link in the link report to the link it represents" option in the Links tab of the Batch Wizard Options checked? Perhaps that is what you want.
