QuickBooks email scam

Post by Albert Wiersch »

While we're on the topic of questionable invoices... see I got a $289 snail mail invoice from Domain Networks. Is it a scam?. I thought I'd post this QuickBooks scam email too, which I just received.

The subject was: "We have temporarily placed a suspention on your QuickBooks account."

So scammers still don't know how to use a spell checker. Hopefully they will never learn.

I do not even have a QuickBooks account so it was obvious right away it was a scam, but people who use QuickBooks may not dismiss it as a scam phishing attempt quite so quickly.
