Syncing Local Files With Server...

Post by »

I am 'test driving' a copy of TopStyle 5 as a potential replacement for Dreamweaver CC. Thus far, everything has been great. However, I am unsure of how to sync a file with the server once it's been edited. Sorry to be so dense, but can someone please point me in the right direction?

You need to setup an FTP connection for that server and then upload the file via FTP (assuming you're editing a local copy of the file).

In the Help files see:

Using the FTP Explorer Panel
Using FTP (File Transfer Protocol) editing

If you're used to DW please note that TopStyle will only upload the files you tell it to upload. It won't automatically upload linked files as DW can. TopStyle allows you to edit the files directly on the server or edit the local files and then upload them.
