PHP code background color
PHP code background color
Is there any way to color the background of a block of PHP code? I can change the background color of PHP variables and text but spaces do not change color. I would like to change the background color of any code, spaces, etc from the start <?php tag to the end ?> tag. Similar to how HomeSite did it. Thanks.

Re: PHP code background color
Starting with version 5.0.0.94 here's how to fix this:
1. Options (F8) > Editor > Color Coding
2. Click on the tab labeled "Script"
3. Click on the category labeled "Default"
4. Click on "Background" (or the ellipsis)
5. Pick any color (for example: yellow)
6. Click on the button labeled "OK"
7. Click on the button labeled "Apply"

Re: PHP code background color
Not quite the fix I'd hoped for, this method colors all "script" javascript and php rather than separating them, also does not color any whitespace between the two code tags..
Re: PHP code background color
Has this issue been resolved yet? It makes distinguishing between my PHP and my other html/js code very difficult. The way Homesite used to do it was perfect. Seems like a very simple fix? Also seems strange that it would already not be an option?

Check other threads here. TopStyle is no longer being supported. So no this has not been addressed.

Thanks for letting me know, such a shame its the one thing that just makes it a nightmare to use. Otherwise this is the best one on the market.
