I often have to prepare responses to people with atrocious spelling and backward ideas.

<span class="sic">supirior</span>

What I am looking for is a rapid way to mark spelling errors with the class="sic".

Further I would like it if on subsequent spelling runs HTMLValidator ignored these errors.

It may be possible (now or with minor modifications to CSE HTML Validator) to use a user function to ignore misspelled words in certain cases, like when words are immediately enclosed in a span element with a certain class. However, this would apply only to the misspelled word validator message when the document is validated (F6) and not to a 'normal' spell-check (F7).

If you'd like me to look into this further, then please let me know.
