One more spelling request, a simple one

Post by roedygr »

When you are checking spelling and you spell a word so badly it cannot think of a replacement, or you use a word totally unlike anything it knows, you have to abort the dialog, fix the problem with manual edits, then restart the F7 spell checking loop.

It would be nice if it let you type in the replacement into the dialog box without interrupting the flow. Most spell checkers work that way.

An extra annoyance of the way things work now, is when you restart the spell checker part way through, it will wrap around, tricking you to recheck the top half of the document.

Hi Roedy,

You shouldn't have to abort the dialog.

Try changing the word in red text (in 'Not Found') in the 'Spelling' dialog to what the word should be, then click 'Change'.
