Check for updates showing wrong version
On the Help screen it says I'm at v22.0220, but when I click on "Check for updates" it says I'm on 22.0300.

Hello,
What help screen are you looking at? Can you post a screenshot? Thanks.
UPDATE: I think I see a problem. Let me investigate.

When I click on Help - About, screen A appears.
When I click on OK, screen B appears.
When I click on Yes, screen C appears.
NOTE: I'm sure there's nothing you can do about this, but attaching multiple files displays them backwards, i.e., first file attached is displayed last and the last file attached is displayed first - if I try to place them inline.

Re: CSS HTML Validator 2022 (v22.03) Now Available
Thank you for the screenshots! I apologize for this issue.
I think I've fixed it.... can you try now?
Also, it looks like you have auto update disabled, just so you know. You can re-enabled it in the Editor Options, Updates page if you want.
Auto update lets CSS HTML Validator automatically download and run the update so it's really easy to update.... but of course there may be a good reason why you have disabled this.

Re: CSS HTML Validator 2022 (v22.03) Now Available
Why would manually checking for updates give me 2 different versions?
I normally disable all automatic updates.
I prefer to have total control over updating so if something goes wrong, I can always back up to the previous version.
I keep all my installer files in folders and each new version is placed in a separate folder. Once I know the update works, I delete the older version.
I learned this from when I was a computer programmer - it's called "version control".

This was a bug because I failed to update all the version information in the update checking system. I missed something. I apologize.
Sure, I understand. That makes sense.paulp575 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 19, 2022 9:12 pm I normally disable all automatic updates.

Not a problem.
There's so much in this wonderful program it can be hard to get it all.
Isn't that why updates are made
