CSS HTML Validator Home/Pro 2025 (v25.01) is now available to all customers that have a 2025/v25 license.
NOTE: Like the last few major releases, this release also uses the Microsoft Chromium based WebView2 Runtime for the optional integrated web browser views. If you want to use the integrated web browser views and the WebView2/WebView Runtime is not already installed on your system then you can download the Microsoft WebView2 installer here.
The new 2025 release continues to be native 64-bit and requires a 64-bit OS. In fact, 2025 is now built with a significantly improved C++ toolchain for improved performance and stability.
If you have a previous 2025/v25 version installed (including 2025 BETAs), then simply install the new 2025 RELEASE version over your current 2025 installation to update it. All minor updates (like v25.00 to v25.01 and v25.02 to v25.03) should also be done in this manner.
If you have a version prior to 2025 (like 2024/v24, 2023/v23, 2022/v22, 2021/v21, 2020/v20, etc.) then we recommend that most customers uninstall it first and then install 2025. The 2025 setup program should ask you if you first want to uninstall your old version and we recommend that you say 'yes' to uninstall the old version. However, if you have a reason to keep the prior version on your machine then you can do so and both versions should work (they will share some, but not all settings).
NOTE: When uninstalling a previous version, only say 'yes' to doing a "full uninstall" if you want to start fresh and lose all your CSS HTML Validator options and settings. If you say 'no' to doing a 'full uninstall' then many of your options and settings should be preserved.

Hint: Load your current version and do an update check (Help > Check for Updates). This should open a browser window with your registration number and PIN number already filled out. Just select v25.0xxx and download.
