The "text-indent" CSS Property

This property sets the indentation applied to lines of inline content in a block. The value may be negative.

CSS Text Level 3	"[ <length-percentage> ] && hanging? && each-line?"

Notes

• The indentation affects only the first formatted line of an element unless the "hanging" or "each-line" keyword is specified. The "hanging" keyword inverts which lines are affected.
