CSS HTML Validator Home for Microsoft Windows is a powerful, easy to use, user configurable, and all-in-one HTML, CSS, accessibility, link, spelling, JavaScript, PHP syntax, and SEO checker. CSS HTML Validator helps eliminate website problems that cause visitors to leave your website. It increases your productivity and saves you time and money.
Unlike many other HTML checkers, all editions of CSS HTML Validator feature an unusually fast and powerful custom syntax checking engine that is specifically designed to check HTML, XHTML, and CSS. More information...
CSS HTML Validator Home offers all the same powerful features (with a few exceptions) of CSS HTML Validator Pro. Both Home and Pro editions offer the exact same level of powerful syntax checking, including CSS, accessibility and link checking. The differences among the Enterprise, Pro, and Home edition are listed in the following table.
NOTE: This edition was previously named CSS HTML Validator Standard.

Batch Wizard enhancements6 |
1The Batch Wizard lets you easily check multiple files and/or URLs. It will generate a neatly formatted HTML report with the results (view sample report). It can also check URLs and follow the links in the URLs to check an entire small to medium sized web site or part of a large one. The Batch Wizard is not included in the Home edition.
2The Configuration Editor lets you customize the validator messages, letting you change the text of many messages. You can also change the message type (for example, you can change a warning message to an error message). The Configuration Editor also lets you add your own validation messages, as well as new tags and attributes. The Configuration Editor is not included in the Home edition.
3The Pro and Enterprise editions allow you to specify a text file that contains special 'user functions' that are used during validations to customize the validation. These functions can be used to alter validation behavior and validation messages, perform additional checks, produce specialized output, and much more. Visit the TNPL section in the documentation for more information.
4The Pro and Enterprise editions can output validation messages in XML format. The Home edition cannot.
5Upgrade protection gives you a free major upgrade if a new major release becomes available within the upgrade protection period. A major upgrade is a change in version number of .1 or more, like from v21.0x to v22.0x. Upgrade pricing after the upgrade protection period can be found on the upgrade page.
6The Batch Wizard in the Enterprise edition includes limit extensions and XML output. The limit extensions increase the number of targets that can be checked at one time. This is useful for large sites with thousands or even tens of thousands of pages. Note that there is no set limit to the number of pages that the Batch Wizard can check at one time as it depends on factors like computer resources (memory), the validation options settings, and the site itself. However, using the limit extension feature in the Enterprise edition should significantly increase (vs the Pro edition) the maximum number of targets that can be checked at one time. The XML output option allows XML formatted reports in addition to HTML.
Upgrades are available to upgrade your edition by paying the difference in price.
