Miscellaneous Options

Enable dynamic refresh in the Shell Windows - (tick_16Pro, tick_16Std, cross_16Lite) Check this option to enable automatic checking for file and folder changes, such as additions and deletions, and automatically update/refresh the Shell Windows to reflect the changes. On some systems, enabling this option may cause problems. This option is not enabled by default.

Enable one-click focus on editor in Structure Window - (tick_16Pro, tick_16Std, cross_16Lite) Check this option to focus on the editor (at the corresponding place) immediately after clicking in the Structure Window. Uncheck this option to leave the focus on the Structure Window after clicking so it can be more easily scrolled with the mouse wheel. To reverse the behavior of this option, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking in the Structure Window. This option is enabled by default. (New v9.9932)

Enable password security - Check this option to show asterisks for characters in password fields, such as the password field in the Open from the Web dialog box. Additionally, if this option is checked, then passwords will not be stored in the registry. Unchecking this option makes the password fields easier to use at the cost of security: asterisks will not be used and previous passwords used may be saved in the registry for easier use (although not in plain text as of v16.02). Note that usernames and passwords (if used to access URLs) are stored (although not in plain text as of v16.02) in Batch Wizard target lists regardless of the setting of this option. If you are not working in a secure environment and are not concerned about people looking at your screen and viewing your passwords, then you may want to uncheck this option to improve usability at the expense of security. This option is enabled by default.

Enable auto update - Check this option to enable the program to download minor updates and then run them (although you will first be prompted before downloading and before installing). This option is enabled by default. (New v15.00)
